- Broad range of topics: There is a vast selection of off-the-shelf courses available, covering various subjects. We have a growing catalogue of over 80 courses to choose from.
- Create bespoke programs: You can plug online courses into your existing development initiatives for a blended learning approach or design a fully online program.
- Flexibility: Off-the-shelf eLearning can be accessed on any device, which gives learners the flexibility to learn at their own pace and time.
- Scalability: Off-the-shelf eLearning can be scaled to meet the needs of any organisation, from small businesses to large enterprises.
There are some potential limitations to bear in mind when choosing off-the-shelf eLearning. These include:
- Lack of customisation: The content is not tailored to address specific organisational needs.
- Limited flexibility: Off-the-shelf courses may not align perfectly with your company's branding, policies, or industry-specific requirements.
- Generic content: Off-the-shelf eLearning is not tailored to the specific type of business and environment of the learners.
- Limited control: You have limited control over updates to the course content.
When selecting an off-the-shelf eLearning provider, it’s important to consider the following factors:
- Course catalogue: Evaluate the available course library and ensure it aligns with your organisation's training requirements.
- Quality of content: Review sample courses and assess the provider's instructional design, interactivity, and multimedia elements.
- Customisation options: Determine if the provider allows any level of customisation, such as branding or content modifications.
- Support and updates: Inquire about technical support, ongoing updates, and access to new course releases.
- Pricing and licensing: Understand the provider's pricing model, licensing terms, and any additional fees associated with the courses.
